Return to an Old Style Meme

Aaah.... please somebody, make a manga book page texture - my books look like wood, and I didn't have the soul to fix them

I'm finally done! I finally understand how people can work for 30+ hours on a piece in photoshop (I'm generally only a and girl) This took me probably two days of my life, added all together (and rendering time~)

My roommate is a cheerleader - I tried talking manga to her - ......



I think she'll need some warming up to me. So, instead of e-mailing all the pics to her, I just sent her a few. Are you still reading? Thanks! (But I couldn't lie to myself, so I hid my books behind the basket) I'll let her get used to the posters first.

Fun facts about my finished room:
I've actually drawn those two posters that big - I should upload pics sometime.
Those bricks on the inside will be cut out of paper (2"x7" to be more $ efficient) and, since we can't tack things to the wall, they're puttied
I didn't notice I put the closets' door hinges on wrong until I stared at my bedroom door - too lazy to fix it *w* but I made it right on the front door!
I didn't know how to make a basket pattern, so I found this woven steel pattern, died it brown, and stuck it on there - does it work?
It was two in the morning on my first day making this when it came time to make the sink - I wanted to sleep (hahahaha, I'm a failure as an artist - who needs sleep?) so I made the most simple one I could find on google - the $2000 one.
We don't really have pink chairs or marble desk countertops - or brown trim (it was white when I went to see it ((I snuck in :3)), who knows what color it could be now) but hey, gotta keep the artist interested
I made this BECAUSE THERE WERE NO PICTURES ON THE WEBSITE OF THIS DORM'S ROOMS - seriously, university. Haha
